i-Risk GmbH (“i-Risk”) collects and uses certain personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (“DSG”), the Ordinance to the Federal Data Protection Act (“DSV”), and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

We place great importance on transparency in handling personal data. This privacy policy provides information on what personal data we collect, for what purpose, and to whom we disclose it.   • Business contact details of an employee or representative of another organization with which we maintain a business relationship or otherwise interact, such as first name, last name, email address, telephone number, address, occupation, job title;
  • Private contact and identification data of our employees and applicants, such as first name, last name, email address, telephone number, address, ID documents, date of birth, nationality, social security number;
  • Personal data of our employees and applicants, such as information regarding their spouses and children, marital status, resume, certificates, criminal record, bank information, health-related information;
  • Working hours tracking data of employees, such as working hours and absences;

Collection of Personal Data

i-Risk typically receives and processes personal data by:

  • You providing it to us;
  • Communicating with us via email or other channels;
  • Using this website;
  • Applying for a job at i-Risk or during the term of your employment;
  • Consulting other sources such as publicly available search engines, official databases, registers and archives, social media, or other websites;
  • Fulfilling an order for us.

Purpose of Processing Your Personal Data

Your personal data will only be processed in connection with our business activities and/or to fulfill our contractual or legal obligations. i-Risk uses your personal data, in particular:

In the course of order processing, your personal data may be transferred to companies abroad. These companies are obligated to the same extent to protect data as we are. The transfer can take place worldwide. If the level of data protection does not correspond to that of Switzerland, we conduct a prior risk assessment and contractually ensure that the same level of protection as in Switzerland is guaranteed (e.g., by means of the new standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission or other legally prescribed measures). If our risk assessment is negative, we implement additional technical measures to protect your data.

i-Risk operates and maintains appropriate physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your personal data from misuse, loss, damage, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Access is restricted to authorized personnel. In addition, we test the effectiveness of these safeguards through regular audits.

When we process your personal data, you have the following rights, which you can exercise in most cases free of charge:

  • The right to request information about the processing of your personal data;
  • The right to have your personal data corrected if it is incorrect or incomplete;
  • The right to withdraw consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. Please note that we may still be entitled to process your personal data, particularly if we are required to do so by law or regulatory provisions;
  • The right to object to the processing of your personal data or instruct us to restrict such processing in certain cases. Again, there may be cases where we are not required or entitled to comply with this request;
  • The right, in some cases, to receive certain personal data in a specific format and/or, if applicable, the right to instruct us to transfer this data to a third party;
  • The right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority if you believe that we have violated your rights.

Duration of Storage

The retention period of your personal data in our possession is determined by the purpose for which we use your personal data as well as our legal obligations.
